Ogimachisanjo Kintaka (正親町三条公高)

Kintaka OGIMACHISANJO (October 4, 1619 - November 13, 1648) was a Kugyo (court noble) during the early Edo period. He was a retainer of the Imperial Court who served three emperors, Emperor Gomizunoo (108th), Empress Meisho (109th), and Emperor Gokomyo (110th), and was promoted to the official court rank Shosanmi Sangi (Senior Third Rank, Councilor). His father was Saneyoshi OGIMACHISANJO, Dainagon (Chief Councilor of State). His mother is unknown. His younger brother was Saneaki OGIMACHISANJO, Chunagon (Vice-councilor of State).

He was conferred a peerage in 1620. Later, he was gradually promoted from Jiju (Imperial Household Agency staff) to a government official of Konoefu (the Headquarters of the Inner Palace Guards) and in 1639, he joined Kugyo as he became Sangi (Councilor), but resigned in the same year. After the resignation, his rank was continuously promoted without any appointments of the governmental posts, and died in 1648. Died at the age of 30.
